As film crews descend, an old Coventry street is transformed

In Coventry, Hay Lane

During filming, a street in the heart of Coventry was given a historical makeover.

A parade of vintage businesses, including an antique store, a book store, and a newsagent, has been painted onto vacant buildings on Hay Lane.

The mystery TV show is scheduled to start filming again on Monday and go through Wednesday.

In the city center, vintage vehicles, including a vintage London bus, were also spotted for the production.

On-street filming will continue until Tuesday.

Starting on Thursday, parking was prohibited on Pepper Street to make room for the use of technical equipment.

The filming follows the completion of other Coventry productions, such as Phoenix Rise and Sir Lenny Henry's drama Three Little Birds.

Steven Knight, the man behind Peaky Blinders, is currently at work on This Town, a BBC drama that examines the city's two-tone scene.
