Nat and Katherine Sciver-Brunt, members of the England cricket team, will make history as the first openly gay couple to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories as part of Pride month.

The newlyweds will read Find Your Happy by Emily Coxhead, a book about a sloth learning to manage their emotions.

To commemorate South Asian Heritage Month in July, Abtaha Maqsood, the first cricket player in Britain to wear a hijab, will read a piece.

Filming for the stories is taking place at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

Along with Rob Burrow, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Anthony Joshua, Harry Kane, and Leah Williamson, the three women join the list of sports stars who have read bedtime stories on the show, which also features Rose Ayling Ellis, Tom Hardy, Dolly Parton, Harry Styles, and Kate Winslet.
