A woman who was once known as "Australia's worst female serial killer" has been released from prison after new information suggested that she did not murder her four children.
In 2003, Kathleen Folbigg received a sentence of at least 25 years in prison after a jury determined that she had killed Caleb, Patrick, Sarah, and Laura over a 10-year period.
But according to a recent investigation, scientists think they might have passed away naturally.
One of Australia's worst instances of injustice has been characterized in the 55-year-old's case.
Attorney General for New South Wales Michael Daley revealed on Monday that the March-end investigation had found Ms Folbigg's guilt for each offense to be reasonably disputed.
