To support a dairy farmer who appeared on the television program Clarkson's Farm, a woman has raised more than £26,000.

Rebecca Poole, a 45-year-old Solihull resident, was touched by the plight of Emma Ledbury, who reportedly lost half her herd to tuberculosis.

Ms. Poole started an online fundraising campaign after seeing the Amazon Prime program.

She set a goal of £10,000 but was quickly swamped with donations from the general public.

Ms. Ledbury allegedly managed to maintain the viability of her farm as a result.

The kindness of people has "just blown me away," said Ms. Poole, the deputy manager of a nursery, "especially in the current financial climate where people are struggling to buy food or heating.".

"And this cause has touched the hearts of the entire country, not just mine.

"I've received contributions from Australia, Canada, the United States, as well as Great Britain, Ireland, and Scotland. ".

The program follows Jeremy Clarkson, a well-known celebrity who enjoys cars, as he runs an Oxfordshire farm.

Following her father's non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis, Ms. Poole claimed she had been using her "anger" as a channel.

She said, "I felt like I had all these angry feelings about my dad having cancer and not being able to be cured of it.

"I reasoned that I could either sit around and mope or I could do something, so I chose to channel my rage into something constructive.

I recently saw [Emma] on television and thought, "I can help her. ".

After getting in touch with Ms. Ledbury's husband, Ms. Poole designated the couple as beneficiaries of the online fund.
